A quick note about one of our league members. Mel Wisler hasn't been around much lately, but he still has stopped by when he could. Mel has had a bad heart for a while, had much work done, had a pacemaker/ICD, etc., but had been on the transplant list for a while. He was admitted into Cleveland Clinic after the holidays to prep for his donor heart. It came sooner than expected. Early indications are that it was in God’s plan. Mel’s wife Vicki says he underwent heart transplant surgery this past weekend and is doing very well in the early stages of his recovery. Please continue to pray for Mel’s continued recovery, and we will keep you updated as we hear about his progress. We will take up a donation at league next week and send him something special.
