This exciting new course is designed for anyone would like to learn
more about the shooting sports as well as the safe handling and
effective use of firearms. The $25 program includes the following:
Firearms have been unfairly maligned in recent years and blamed for many of society's ills. As a result, generations of families have been deprived of a very important part of our country's heritage, the right to keep and bear arms as protected by the Second Amendment to the Constitution, part of our Bill of Rights. Until recently, guns were a normal part of every family's life. Parents knew how to use them effectively to provide for and protect their children, and passed that knowledge and respect on to them. If that heritage was not part of your upbringing, this is a great opportunity to recover that lost treasure and pass it on. At the end of this course, parents will know the proper way to handle these firearms and be able to supervise their children on the range if and when they elect to participate in recreational shooting as a family activity. The course pops the bubble of mystery regarding firearms and teaches the proper, safe, and effective way to handle them. It also provides a foundation for learning the use of firearms for protection, should that ever be necessary in your life as it was for those living in New Orleans during the aftermath of hurricane Katrina. If you or someone in your family or circle of acquaintances has never handled a firearm, this is the perfect course to get started with. Advanced reservations are required to participate in this popular program. Call the range at (937) 293-3914 or click here to request registration and reserve your spot! 2008 Schedule:
